For the past 12 years, Charito has hosted her own Spanish-language radio show on restorative justice called "For A Culture of Peace". It is aired at Radio Centro, WLCH, on 91.3 FM in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and on the internet radio station, La Exitosa in Milford, Delaware. As a street reporter for the public radio station WLCS/WSDL in Salisbury, Maryland, Charito interviews Latinos living in the United States, gathering their perspectives on specific issues. Her efforts contributed to a radio segment that earned Best In-Depth Documentary in 2006 and Best Feature in 2007 from the Associated Press (AP).
